PERMA GUARD™ mould & Mildew-Proof™* Interior Sealer is a high performance latex acrylic clear interior sealer that is GUARANTEED to prevent the growth of mould & mildew on the coating film for FIVE YEARS. It combines EPA-registered mildewcides with Zinsser's proprietary 100% acrylic resin system to create a coating formulated to withstand the extreme conditions faced by mould remediation and disaster restoration professionals.

PERMA-GUARD passes severe ASTM D5590 and D3273 testing and is extremely effective in preventing the growth of mould & mildew - even when the coating film rewets. Non-corrosive to metal, PERMA-GUARD produces a tough, durable finish that resists moisture to improve the water resistance of wood, concrete and drywall, minimizing surface water absorption under wet conditions.

PERMA-GUARD also restores the soundness of aged or recovered water damaged materials and provides antimicrobial protection to inhibit the growth of odor causing microbes on the coating film**.

The water-base formula goes on white and dries to a clear finish with a slight haze that allows the surface to be visible for inspection. PERMA-GUARD resists dirt pick-up and offers outstanding adhesion to all surfaces. The fast drying, low odor formula can be recoated in just two hours and offers excellent coverage.

PERMA-GUARD is ideal for use on interior wall cavities, trusses, frame and interior side OSB lumber, unfinished cement block basements and other new or previously painted substrates – new or painted drywall, wood, cured plaster and masonry or metal. Formulated to meet the needs of remediation and restoration professionals, it also is ideal for protecting building materials against the growth of mould & mildew in new construction or remodeling projects.
